Mug for baptism and all kinds of drinks

A substantial pewter mug with a brass rim, designed by Fredrik Strömblad. Weighing approximately 120 grams, it rests firmly in the hand and conveys a sense of permanence, balance, and traditional craftsmanship. This mug should not be compared to thin, machine-made spun mugs that often weigh as little as 40 grams.

The mug is handcrafted in Sweden by skilled artisans, with each piece reflecting careful workmanship and respect for the material. The soft lustre of the pewter meets the warm tone of the brass in a design that unites tradition with timeless simplicity. The brass band around the rim alone gives the mug a distinctive character and sets it apart from simpler mugs. Incorporating the brass wire into the manufacturing process also requires a high degree of craftsmanship.

Each mug is stamped with the designer’s signature, Munka Tenn, and the year mark, and is individually numbered – a discreet yet clear indication of its origin and limited nature.
