Mr Fredrik

Mr Fredrik is our brand for all interior and garden products, Gusums Messing for brass items, Munka Sweden for pewter, and Oscar Borgström for leather and canvas bags and accessories.

We are primarily wholesalers, but since we know that we do not have full coverage throughout Sweden and not all products are available everywhere, we also offer them through our online store.

Our focus is on creating unique, custom-designed products in small series for both garden and indoor use, primarily in bronze, brass, pewter, new silver, porcelain, and canvas.

We increasingly design our own models, which can only be purchased from our retailers or on this website.

About Munka Sweden

Munka Sweden is our brand for pewter products.

Munka Sweden is the only company in Sweden that offers Swedish pewter to all stores and can be found in various interior design shops, as well as jewelers.

We have been active since the 1980s and currently have two main focuses in our product range.

Classic products, which are both custom-designed and replicas of old models, form the foundation of Munka Sweden.

Since 2016, we have added a new series of pewter products, based on custom-designed modern Swedish pewter. Here, we choose to collaborate with Swedish designers and showcase the unique glossy surface that can be achieved through high-grade polishing. This surface is more durable than silver when it comes to not oxidizing and becoming tarnished.

The range currently consists of various boxes and coffee- and teapots. More products will be launched during the year, especially as we believe that pewter will become a future trend, but then in new Swedish design.

All items are meticulously crafted by highly skilled artisans in Europe.

About Gusums Messing

Gusums Messing is a brand established as early as 1653, during a time when Sweden was a major power with abundant copper resources from the Falun Copper Mine. Copper is the main ingredient and constitutes over 70% of brass.

Decorative items for the home environment in brass were a relatively new phenomenon and gained momentum only in the latter part of the 19th century. Prior to that, practical items such as mortars, milk cans, hinges, faucets, zippers, paper clips, ship valves, etc., were manufactured.

Today, Gusums Messing is a brand owned by Mr Fredrik AB. The products consist of modern designs, older replicas, as well as a range of Gusums' classic products.

About Oscar Borgström

Oscar Borgström's history begins in 1997 in a warehouse with worn and repaired canvas. For it was there, in the hands and mind of the designer and ocean sailor Oscar Borgström, that the inspiration from the worn and recycled material shaped the idea of a durable bag that would work just as well regardless of where or how you travel.

Together with heavy-duty selvedge leather and sturdy fittings, he created the bag he himself wanted. Durable, full of character, and made to age with beauty.

Since then, there have been more functional items developed with the ambition to avoid unnecessary wear and tear on the earth's resources.

All crafted and designed to make everyday life a little easier and a little more beautiful, whether you're at home, traveling, or on your life's adventure. Items that can withstand the wear and tear of an active life.
