A magnificent hand-painted lamp base in vibrant colours set against an imperial yellow background, richly decorated with red peonies. The lamp rests on a hand-turned Swedish birch base, stained three times and then lacquered to enhance the depth and natural lustre of the wood.
Height: 17.5 cm.
